Just a reminder that we will not have a meeting this month due to scheduling conflicts at The Heights, each year we take this opportunity to plan a guild event that usually involves some sort of fabric shopping.
This year we have planned a local ShopHop to JanieLou, The Quilted Fox and Jackman's Fabrics. Jessica, our guild's Secretary, sent the details in an email a week or so ago to all our members.
Here are some other things you might want to check out around town or online:
- Thinking of going to QuiltCon 2017 in Savannah? Check out the QuiltCon catalog filled with the schedule of events, classes and presentations. Registration opens June 25th.
- Are you following us on Instagram? Come check us out @STLMQG
- We have been hearing rave reviews about The Little Black Dress exhibit at the Missouri History Museum, have you attended yet?
- Want to do something to give back to the St. Louis community? Remember we have an ongoing project to help aid our community's sensory friendly children, more info can be found on our 2016 Charitable Project page.
Members, our SewMeSTL event is coming together nicely. The contracts have been sent to our workshop Teachers and we look forward to announcing them and opening registration in the coming weeks.
Did you know that next month is our guild's 6th anniversary? YAY!!
We thank you for your continued support and hope to see you at our July meeting.
